There is a dialectic of styles within the postmodern that in fact seemingly demands that every polarity should immediately give birth to it's opposite extreme.


An emerging bravura is apparent in American painting and one of the genre's where it displays itself most clearly is in still life or nature morte.

Born in New York city in 1940, John Patrick Garufi studied at the Art Student's League and the Pratt Graphics Center, both located in downtown Manhattan.
